The Guidelines:

The guidelines for this contest are pretty simple. Please be sure to read them before submiting any entries.

1. First of all it's a diptych contest, this means that to participate you must submit a diptych painting, this is a painting conformed by two canvas, instead of one.

_{Dictionary definition: "A work consisting of two painted or carved panels that are hinged together."}

Have in mind, a diptych is ONE painting, in a DOUBLE canvas, buts its one painting, its not a comicbook with two frames or something like that.

2. Regarding to the theme of the painting, you are free to choose completely what to paint, there's no restrictions. Nevertheless keep in mind that it's a diptych painting, and therefore the topic you pick must have any logical connection with the fact that you are working on a double canvas.

3. All entries must follow basic guidelines of the painters club. This means the medium must be some kind of paint (watercolors, acrylics, oils, etc.); and the size of the photography of your entry has to be at least 640 x 480 pixels. Please keep in mind that the better the photo of your work is, the better we can judge it. Sometimes flashes produce awful flares on the picture that distort the works.

4. To submit your entry you must upload the work in your own deviantart gallery, and send us a note with the subject "Diptych Contest" with a link to it. Entries with subjects such as "submission" or "no subject" could be ignored. 1 entry per person

5. Regarding the time, you will have two months to submit your entries, counting from today, October 12th. This means all entries must be submited before 0 hours GMT of December 12th.
Edit: Deadline extended 1 month, to January 12th, 2007.

6. The jury that will determinate the winners will be formed by both admins of the club, and perhaps some other invited judge. You will be informed about this when the deadline is closer...
