How to become a member

This is a club for traditional painters, those who works with acrylics, oils, inks and/or watercolours (and every medium that deviantArt qualifies as painting mediums) are welcome to join us.

If you would like to be part of this club, just send a NOTE with the title Join and you will be added to list of members. NOTE please do not leave request comments on the main page, we may not see them.

We appreciated that you place our icon in your signature/journal. And if you know any other painters that may be interested, please let them know.

Please COMMENT on the works *painters uploads. Even if now -due to a members majority decision- you can not comment in our submissions, you can always comment on the original painting (that is linked in the description).

The whole point of making a painters community, is to gather all those that apreciatte paintings to watch eachother, comment and critic eachother. And please remember to fav on the original images that are always linked to the ones we upload!

If you do fav one of *painters's submissions, you will probably receive a note from us asking you to removed the favorite. Please do not take it personal, this is part of our policy that has as purpose that the authors of the works are the ones getting the favorites, and not the club.

About features

If you have suggestions for the club featured painters, please post them here ---> [link] . We will take them all in consideration, either for journal features, or for favorites.

About submissions

The only requirement is the artwork has to be traditionaly painting. No digital artwork, sorry.

We will upload only paintings... Even if there has been a mistake a couple of times, we now inform that we won't submit any pastels works, sorry. That also goes for collages, or anything that falls out the "Painting" section in deviantart.

We will only submit your finished pieces. FINISHED paintings, not paint sketches.

Due to the fact that we have OVER 1,500 members, your submissions will take probably a couple of months to be up on the club, maybe less, depending on the actual waiting list. SAME THING APPLIES TO JOINING, SO PLEASE HAVE PATIENCE.

How to sumbit your art

To submit work, send us a note with "submission" in the subject line. Include in the body of the note a link to your deviantion; that is the link to the work on your deviantArt gallery.

You can only send us one work per note. Also please include the medium used in your painting.

We will submit as many deviations as possible. The club used to have numbers of deviantions per day, but obviously with time, and admins changing or leaving, this is not the same anymore. So we will upload as many as possible, considering all the rest of manteining activities that the club requires. Just be patient, please.

About your work

By sending us notes with links to works to submit, you agree and give us the permission to post it under this account. All the notes with submissions request will be saved as proof that certifies it.

All the works that are bigger than 750 pixels width will be resized. As 99% of the works we upload are in DA already in the members accounts theres no need to saturate the server of deviantart with huge works. Thats why we include in the submission a link to the original deviation. Our purpose is to show your work, display them to the painters audience. For that is much better a smaller format that allows the viewer seing your whole work at once and not having to scroll too much to see it.
