Club News
Hey everyone! Last contest was a nice experience to know what works and what doesn't when it comes down to contest topics... It become obvious to us that many loved the topic in a personal level, but it wasn't inspirational enough to start you guys painting.... So we will have this in mind for the NEXT CONTEST that we are already planning...
As you saw, last contest prizes were EXCELENT, thanks to our incredible sponsors:
We are already listing ideas for new contest topics, but as always, we ask you to leave us in the journal your own ideas!! Hopefully we can achieve this time a more inspirational topic
Also, if you want to contribute to the new contest as a Sponsor please drop us a note (with subject "contest" or "sponsor"). Sponsors are really the biggest part of our great contests, so I can't thank them enough
In other news, I want again to say, thanks to *milbisous that has helped keep the club running so smoothly, specially since I have been travelling all this month
THANKS DEAR! The best coadmin ever
So you know, leave us your contest ideas! We promess to read them all!!
And also don't forget to check our latest features!! And please, if you want to JOIN the club, or SUBMIT a work, READ BEFORE THE GUIDELINES!! We keep getting notes without proper subjects, and specially, submissions WITHOUT the medium. Also, if you sent a submission note and you still didn't see it in the gallery, you DO NOT NEED TO RESUBMIT, 100% of the times is just in queue, which means you just need to be patient
Just in case, I leave here a little reminder of the full guidelines (that you can read here)
To JOIN send a note with the subject JOIN.
We will only submit your finished pieces. FINISHED paintings, not paint sketches.
To submit work, send us a note with "submission" in the subject line. Include in the body of the note a link to your deviantion; that is the link to the work on your deviantArt gallery.
You can only send us one work per note. Also please include the medium used in your painting, and if you know it, the size (in inches or cm).
If you have any doubts, the full guidelines (including what mediums do we accept and which we don't) are available here.

There are so many things going on in my head right now I have no idea what to paint/draw next, so it's really hard to suggest anything. Except of course of the usuall stuff: music theme, the personification of a colour, paint your favourite month so that everyone could taste it and smell it of your painting... blah blah, "opposites" could be fun to paint, tons of ideas here to chose from. Someone once suggested "Chaos", it's a good idea I think, chaos can have many faces. But I'll stick to "opposites", two opposing forces/feelings/colours anything. I don't feel creative enough to think of something more

Doesn't matter what brings a person, only what they leave with.
-An 'Our World Today' as seen through the eyes of artist. It would be interesting to see the different submissions and views from different parts of the world. It could be political, emotional, realistic, surreal, whatever someone wanted to depict.
-'Mirrors and reflections' which would yet again be something any painter can do whether they like realism or surreal painting.
