Yeah!! The official stamp for the painters' Magic Contest!!!

Believe it or now, it's a new, and even more awesome contest from *painters to its members!!

This time, the center point of the contest is a THEME: MAGIC. Yes!! How do you feel about magic? How would you describe it? What is magical for you? Does magic exist in regular things? in supernatural elements or beings? Is it magic a feeling? a sensation?

We know most of the people love magic, even if they believe on it or not. And we also think that magic is something different for each one of us!!!

So... *painters invites you to describe magic with a painting. However you want, however you imagine it... Anything!! Be creative!! Yeah!!

We hope you like the idea, and here are the guidelines:


Guidelines:

To participate in this contest you must be a member of *painters. If you are not, don't stress, you can apply for the club, and even if we don't add you inmediately, if we have your "Join" note, that's enough.

The entry you submit to this contest must be a TRADITIONAL painting. According to the guidelines of this club we accept watercolors, acrylics, oils, inks, etc. No pastels or other dry media like pencils, etc., sorry. If there's any question about this, please read the club's guidelines ( [link] ).

This paiting must describe what magic means to you, in the style you prefer, in any way you want to do it.

You can only submit 1 entry to this contest. That entry must be a photograph or a scan of your painting (in the case of photos please try to avoid flashes because they create awful flares on your work), of at least 640 x 480 pixels. You must upload the image to your gallery in deviantArt and provide us with a link to it.

That link must be sent in a note to the club under the subject Magic Contest. Please remember to put that subject to the note because we get lots of notes everyday, and that way you make sure your entry gets into the entries' list.

Remember, if you have any doubt about this guidelines, you can write us a note or simply post a message in this journal, and we'll try to answer to you as soon as possible.


Deadline:

As always, you have 2 months. That means all entries must be submited before 0 hours of May 20th, 2006.
